An ode to better days

The small flame may not seem a formidable foe against the mighty steel pot. But years of constant heating, cooling and heating again has etched deep permanent scars into the once proud shiny surface of this pot. One day, the pot will be thrown out, but the flame will still remain.

This photograph is a tribute to small steps. It's the day-to-day determination to put one foot in front of the other that sometimes brings down the most powerful obstacles in our lives.
