Ask a child to draw a flower, and they'll probably draw a daisy - the round middle, and the petals spread out all around. They are iconic.
There's something imminently cheerful about daisies. Walking past them is a joy, looking at them is a joy. And taking this picture of them, requiring me to go up really close and muse on its simplicity, made my day.

@Wendy: Yea, I know. Seems strange as it looks fine on some screens and not on some. I realised that it looks a little less saturated and dull on my mac but when I tried uploading the same picture onto another website (like Flickr), it looks fine and close to the source file, on the very same screen. It is not just this photo but all my other photos uploaded onto AM3. However, on windows, both Flickr and AM3 versions looks identical to the source file. Anyone else encountering the same problem? Maybe it is some Safari incompatibility with AM3.
The colors are bit saturated and i like that, really crisp. It aint easy to shoot white though in the sun, and you have got it right here pal. :-)

@Rahul: LOL yea the "radiant" sun did cause some problems. Honestly, i took a shot, ran into the house, load it up on my mac to have a look at it and ran back out to take another shot. Repeated this cycle a gazillion times till I have nailed the shot - nah I just did this twice. Fortunately, these daisies were just in my lawn.
Simply beautiful!
