Dizzy daisies

Posted by Daniel & Jessica (Melbourne, Australia) on 25 June 2007 in Plants & Nature and Portfolio.

Ask a child to draw a flower, and they'll probably draw a daisy - the round middle, and the petals spread out all around. They are iconic.

There's something imminently cheerful about daisies. Walking past them is a joy, looking at them is a joy. And taking this picture of them, requiring me to go up really close and muse on its simplicity, made my day.
